The space has a homely, welcoming feel that both I and my clients really appreciated — it’s comfortable, relaxed, and has good vibes. It's down-to-earth and real. None of that pretentious snobbiness. The owners were always accommodating and helpful, creating an environment where you felt supported. One of the things I valued most was the flexibility. I was able to choose my own hours and work around a schedule that suited me, which gave me the freedom to focus on my clients without the stress of managing a salon. It was easy, flexible, and relaxed — a great balance. The atmosphere was light and fun, with plenty of jokes, music, and the occasional end-of-day venting session when needed. It truly felt like a community, not just a workplace. I'm currently on maternity leave, but I’m really looking forward to heading back there soon. The owners were incredibly supportive and accommodating — always willing to help out when things got busy. If they were full, they would happily offer me overflow clients, and we often helped each other by washing clients or lending a hand when needed. It truly felt like a team environment, even though we were working independently. There was a beautiful sense of community — we’d often bring in yummy food and fresh fruit to share, and we would often wind down the day with music, a bit of singing and dancing, and lots of laughter. We brought joy, fun, and good vibes into the salon every day, and I genuinely loved being part of it. I only moved on because the salon relocated, but I’m so grateful for the time I spent there and the friendships and memories made.
