Our Mission
Our mission is to empower independent hair and beauty professionals to work for themselves but not by themselves.
By connecting freelance hair and beauty professionals with salon owners, we want to make it easy to rent out chairs in established salons so that freelancers can find flexible workspaces, while salon owners can turn their unused chairs into profit.
The Team

MuseAvenue was founded by Raphael Veron and Thomas Roux, who combined their deep expertise to create a transformative platform for the hair & beauty industry.
Raphael, formerly the Managing Director of Franck Provost Australia — one of the largest hair salon franchises in the country — brings extensive business and industry knowledge.
Thomas, previously an Executive Producer at global mobile app studio Gameloft, contributes his technology and product expertise.
Positive Environmental and Social Impact
By promoting and developing the chair rental economy, MuseAvenue is driving sustainability and fostering social benefits within the hair & beauty industry.
- Reduces Waste: By promoting the rental of existing salon chairs, we reduce the need for new resources and minimise material waste.
- Lowers Energy Consumption: Sharing salon spaces means fewer locations to power, leading to lower overall energy usage.
- Promotes Better Work-Life Balance: Freelancers can work on their own terms, enabling them to achieve a healthier work-life balance.
- Strengthens Local Communities: Our platform supports local salons and freelancers, boosting small businesses and fostering stronger community ties.
Alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals
MuseAvenue also indirectly supports several of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
We promote sustainable economic growth by helping freelancers and salon owners increase their income through flexible work arrangements and productive employment.
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
MuseAvenue fosters innovation by providing digital infrastructure that connects a fragmented beauty market, supporting sustainable industry growth.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
Our platform creates equal opportunities for independent professionals and smaller salons, reducing economic disparities within the beauty industry.
The Future of the Hair and Beauty Industry
Australia's beauty and hair industry is thriving, with over 35,000 salons and more than 110,000 professionals. As freelancing continues to grow, we expect 3 out of 4 professionals to rent chairs by 2030, significantly boosting the sector's economic contribution.
MuseAvenue is leading this shift by building a dynamic, collaborative ecosystem that benefits all industry stakeholders, enabling both freelancers and salon owners to succeed in this evolving market.
